Account Balance Sign option has no impact

has no impact on the balances show for Income and Liability accounts.



Acumatica is configured for "behind the scenes" communications in English (regardless of the language of the user interface).

However, certain versions of Acumatica pass account type information in the user interface language, instead of English.  This makes it so that Velixo cannot determine if an account is a Liability or Income account and adjust the account balance sign accordingly.

This issue can be found in:

  • Acumatica 2022R1 (build versions before 22.116)
  • Acumatica 2022R2 (build versions before 22.206)
  • 2023R1 (build versions before 23.100)



The resolution for this is to update to a version of Acumatica that sends the account type information as expected.
