Installing the Velixo NX Distribution Agent

Overview 

Important note: This functionality has been migrated from the Velixo Classic product and is currently made available for Velixo NX as a Beta feature. We are actively seeking your feedback about this feature. Please contact Support to let us know about your experience!

Starting from version 2024.4 (released on May 1st 2024), Velixo NX includes 3 new buttons in the ribbon to create reports of a workbook as files in your local device and optionally distribute them by email. 

The three additional ribbon buttons can be found in the Distribution section, as per the below:

The Distribution List feature for Velixo NX requires installing a Windows-based executable in your local device.

If you attempt to use any of these options without having installed the Distribution Agent, you will receive the below notification in the Status pane which redirects you to this article.

Using Distribution List

Once the Distribution NX Agent is installed, close and restart Excel for the new functionality to be available.

We are working on updating the documentation for Velixo NX.  In the meantime, you can refer to the Using Distribution List (Classic) article (as the feature set available in Velixo NX is identical).
