Agent Accuracy, Reliability, and Performance

  • Improved reliability of the assistant in placing spilling formulas on the worksheet thanks to a more accurate evaluation of potential spill range overlap. (RD-11150)

  • When building financial reports such as a trial balance, VI will now prefer dedicated debit/credit functions over using MAX/MIN workarounds with turnover functions. (RD-11071)

  • We improved the stability of auto-generated conversation titles, generation stop-and-resume, follow-up suggestions, and more. (RD-9868)

  • Velixo Intelligence now factors in the worksheet you're currently viewing to more accurately capture your intent without asking you to re-specify context. (RD-11034)

  • The agents now prefer non-volatile NOWNV and TODAYNV functions to their volatile counterparts. (RD-11412)

  • The assistant now verifies that the report it has built is free of formula errors and automatically corrects any it finds. (RD-11149)

  • Fixed an issue where VI would occasionally produce reports with excessive nested row and column grouping. (RD-11070)

  • Fixed an issue where VI agent edits to a specific worksheet range could silently land on whichever worksheet was currently active in Excel, causing wrong-sheet edits. (RD-10875)

UX/UI

  • The Troubleshoot and Analyse context-menu actions in Velixo Intelligence now start a new conversation instead of appending to the current one, preventing context pollution. (RD-11153)

  • The Troubleshoot action label in the chat side panel has been renamed to Explain with Velixo Intelligence. (RD-11147)

  • A banner now lets you know when your VI tokens have been exhausted. (RD-11058)

  • A new "Thinking..." indicator is displayed while the agent is working. (RD-11155, RD-11308)

  • The Stop and Submit buttons in the chat are now larger, use a clearer stop symbol, and expose tooltips, making it obvious when a response can be interrupted. (RD-11148)

  • Fixed an issue where the threads list panel could become unresponsive when switching between multiple chats. (RD-9868)

  • Fixed a problem where conversation history was occasionally not saved to disk. (RD-9868)

  • Fixed one of the instabilities that could lead to a sporadic "Velixo Intelligence has run into an unexpected error" banner in the chat or occasional add-in crashes. (RD-10829, RD-11464)

  • Fixed the Copy button on assistant messages silently failing due to a clipboard-permissions policy. (RD-11309)

Excel add-in

We’re happy to announce that Velixo NX is now available in four new languages (RD-9266):

🚀 New

  • The Freeze and Unfreeze menus now include a new Selected Cells scope, letting you freeze or unfreeze only the Velixo formulas in your current selection rather than the entire worksheet or workbook. (RD-10017)

  • We introduced the NOWNV function, a non-volatile counterpart to Excel’s NOW. (RD-11441)

  • Improved performance when freezing a worksheet containing very large dynamic arrays (spill ranges of millions of cells). (RD-11183)

🔨 Fixed

  • The Forget auto-hide ranges command now applies to the active worksheet only, rather than the entire workbook. (RD-11247)

  • Refresh is now prevented (and reported in the Connection Manager) when no connection is configured, instead of running silently and reporting success. (RD-10551)

  • Fixed an issue where the cell-selection picker in various side-panel fields (including Query Builder "Put the query formula in cell" and filter "is equal to" inputs) worked inconsistently, sometimes failing to insert the picked cell or to accept manual edits. (RD-11241)

  • Fixed an issue causing the active worksheet to "jump" up to the selected cell during add-in initialization when the Velixo ribbon was not visible. (RD-10971)

  • Fixed an issue where Microsoft authentication errors at add-in startup were not processed or surfaced cleanly to the user. (RD-10630, RD-9813)

  • WRITEBACKPROJECTFORECAST no longer fails with "The provided value '00000' does not match the required input mask '>####'" in environments where projects are configured with cost codes that are not exactly five characters long. (RD-11420)

  • Fixed an issue where GI and GIFILTER filters on decimal columns failed with "Could not recognize the OData syntax" on Acumatica versions prior to 2026 R1 (OData v3). (RD-10856)

🐛 Known Issues

  • When the Velixo Intelligence agent inserts formulas in Excel for Mac, they may get stuck with a #BUSY! status indefinitely. (RD-11103)
