Error 403 Forbidden (while connecting to data)

Symptom / Cause


Attempting to establish a connection to your data, an error message will appear if you do not have access to the Velixo license server.



Text of Error Message:

An error occurred while loading the license for connection. 

The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden



Access to the Velixo licensing server is being blocked (usually by a firewall or other web security service).






Contact your system administrator about adding the Velixo licensing server (and all subdomains) to your system's trusted sites:

Alternately, you may be able to contact your web security service provider to add the Velixo licensing server to their system.

If you need the specific URL for your organization's license, please submit a support request.
