The SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE returns an array containing one or more cost types configured within Sage Intacct.

Syntax
SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE(Connection, ProjectRange, TaskRange, CostTypeRange, IncludeInactive, IncludeProjects, IncludeTasks)
Parameters
The SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE function uses the following parameters:
Parameter | Required/ Optional | Description |
ConnectionName | Required | The name of the connection as configured in the Connection Manager |
| ProjectRange | Required | The ID of the project (or multiple projects) for which Cost Types are to be shown (available in version 2023.10 and higher) |
| TaskRange | Required | The ID of the task (or multiple tasks) for which Cost Types are to be shown (available in version 2023.10 and higher) |
CostTypeRange | Optional | The range of cost types to include in the results. See our article on including multiple parameter values |
IncludeInactive | Optional | True (default) or False Determines whether or not to include entries with a Status field set to Inactive in the results. |
| IncludeProjects | Optional | True or False (default) Determines whether a separate column with project ID is included in the results (available in version 2023.10 and higher) |
| IncludeTasks | Optional | True or False (default) Determines whether a separate column with task ID is included in the results (available in version 2023.10 and higher) |
Examples
Example 1 - all cost codes
=SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE("Sage", "*", "*")Description
Returns all cost types configured within Sage Intacct

Example 2 - active cost codes
Assuming the following configuration within Sage Intacct:
=SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE("Sage", "*", "*",,FALSE)Description
Returns all ACTIVE cost types configured within Sage Intacct

(note that the inactive cost type BUR is not included)
Example 3 - specific project and task
=SI.EXPANDCOSTTYPERANGE("Sage", "20-001", "G01-040")Description
Returns all cost types associated with task G01-040 in project 20-001

Example 4 - including project IDs

Returns all Project IDs and their corresponding active Cost Types

Returns all Task Codes and corresponding active Cost Types for project TEST-2205.

Note: If cost types have not been set up with Sage Intacct (or your user account does not have access to the cost type configuration), the function will return a #N/A error:
