Overview

The "New Outlook" preview app from Microsoft is now available for many users of both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Starting in June 2023, Microsoft began the process of migrating existing Windows Mail, Calendar, and People users to the new Outlook for Windows.  Beginning in 2024, it is planned that Windows 11 devices will be shipped with the new Outlook for Windows as the default mailbox application. 

The traditional edition of Outlook will still be available on systems and be available for download.

Velixo Drilldown feature

The Drilldown feature (available in Velixo Classic) uses communication tools that are available only in the traditional version of Microsoft Outlook.  The New Outlook does not provide these tools.

The Velixo Development Team is constantly looking for ways to make our products easier and more powerful for all of our users.  Keep an eye on the release notes for both Velixo Classic and Velixo NX for exciting new features.
