The AC-IN-RT3 Inventory Turnover report template provides a comprehensive analysis of inventory turnover, helping users assess the efficiency of inventory movement across branches and warehouses. Coverage
This workbook includes the following sheets:
Inventory Turnover: the primary report displaying inventory turnover details.
Inventory Transaction Details: a breakdown of the inventory transaction details.
Options: the report's settings sheet that used for data validation lists and various lookups and configurations.
Information: the information sheet of the report, used for storing useful details about the report such as: code, version, article link in order to keep track of the origin of the report.

Using the AC-IN-RT3 Inventory Turnover template is straightforward and effective. It provides a clear overview of inventory turnover with minimal setup, helping users easily track inventory efficiency.
Inventory Turnover Summary
This tab shows how often inventory is sold and replaced within a set period. It helps users track inventory movement, assess stock efficiency, and optimize inventory levels for better management.
Filter
Located in the upper left of the sheet, the filters include:
- Branch: lists all the Branches present in Acumatica Instance including any custom group defined in the options sheet. For ease of use, Velixo shows you the Branch ID that you may be familiar with along with the Branch name. This Display name is configurable in the Options sheet.
- Warehouse: lists all the warehouses setup in Acumatica
- From date: a date field that defines the start date for inventory transactions.
- To date: a date field that defines the end date for inventory transactions.
Inventory Turnover Details
The details are displayed in a clear, organized table format for easy viewing and analysis. Key information is emphasized in the table to make it more convenient for users to analyze and interpret the data.
For user convenience, the following inventory details are included to provide a comprehensive view of stock movement:
- Inventory ID: a unique identifier for each inventory item.
- Description: a brief description of the inventory item.
- Warehouse: the specific warehouse where the inventory is stored.
- Branch: the branch associated with the inventory.
To assist with analysis, the report includes the following Quantity and Amount columns, capturing key metrics related to inventory transactions:
- Beg Qty: beginning quantity of the inventory item.
- Beg Cost: beginning cost of the inventory item.
- Qty (Receipt): quantity of inventory received.
- Cost (Receipt): cost of inventory received.
- Qty (Issue): quantity of inventory issued.
- Cost (Issue): cost of inventory issued.
- Qty (Transfer In): quantity of inventory transferred into the warehouse.
- Cost (Transfer In): cost of inventory transferred in.
- Qty (Transfer Out): quantity of inventory transferred out.
- Cost (Transfer Out): cost of inventory transferred out.
- Qty (Adjustment): quantity of inventory adjusted.
- Cost (Adjustment): cost of inventory adjustments.
- Ending Qty: ending quantity of the inventory item.
- Ending Cost: ending cost of the inventory item.
This structure enables a thorough analysis of inventory movement, cost adjustments, and stock levels across different warehouses and branches.
Inventory Transaction Details
This sheet provides a detailed breakdown of all inventory transactions, giving a clear view of each movement or adjustment made to inventory. It includes specific data such as receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments, along with corresponding quantities and costs.
Filters
The filters used in this sheet are similar to those in the Inventory Turnover tab, ensuring consistency across data sources. This alignment helps maintain accuracy and reliability when analyzing inventory transactions.
Inventory Transaction Details Data table
The information on this tab is presented in a well-structured table for clear viewing and easy analysis. Key details are included to help users quickly interpret and understand the data
- Type: the type of inventory transaction (e.g., receipt, issue, transfer, or adjustment).
- Inventory ID: a unique identifier for the inventory item.
- Description: a brief description of the inventory item.
- Warehouse: the warehouse where the inventory transaction took place.
- To Warehouse: the destination warehouse for transferred inventory.
- Branch: the branch associated with the transaction.
- Date: the date the transaction was recorded.
- Quantity: the number of inventory units involved in the transaction.
- Cost: the total cost associated with the transaction.
User Guide
Using the report
Now that we've covered the report overview, let's dive into a step-by-step guide on effectively utilizing the report.
- Set the Connection Name on the Options Sheet: crucial for all processes, set the Connection Name on the Options sheet by updating cell A2. Ensure it matches the name used during Velixo application login.
- Update the Options Sheet: as the foundation for filters on the Inventory Turnover sheet, keep the Options sheet up to date. It should always and automatically capture the latest dimensions and structures from your Acumatica instance.
- Navigate to the Inventory Turnover tab and adjust the filters as needed.
- Changing the filters will automatically update both the Inventory Turnover and Inventory Transaction Details tabs
