🚀 New:

• Acumatica 2025R1-Compatible - Keep calm, we have certified for Acumatica 2025R1, so you don't have to worry when the time comes to upgrade.
• New Functions:
  • WRITEBACKJOURNAL - to simplify the creation and update of Journal transactions from Velixo, we have introduced Journal Writeback as a new function. This function makes it easier and more flexible to create Journal Transactions. It works in a similar way to the WRITEBACKBUDGET function, and we have also updated the Journal Transaction Writeback sheet - it now uses this new function in a Status column, for an improved experience.
  • GETATTACHMENTS - combined with the Distribution List feature, this new function lets you extract file attachments (e.g., PNG, JPG, PDF files) from Acumatica records (such as invoices) and append these attachments to a PDF document generated by a Distribution List.
    • Use case example: generating a Substantiated Billing report for a given project by using Distribution List to create a PDF file (for a Sheet that lists AP Bills and uses the new GETATTACHMENTS function).
  • WRITEBACKPROJECTCOSTPROJECTION - a critical addition to our Construction and Project solution. With this new function, you can now write back to the Project Cost Projections screen of Acumatica! 
    • This function checks for an existing cost projection by project and revision. If found, it updates the record; if not, it creates it.
    • ❗Action required: You need the most recent customization package installed to use this function.

✨ Improved:

• GIFILTER Support for "Does Not Contain" Operator - You can now exclude values with the “does not contain” operator in the GIFILTER function. 

  • When using the syntax <>*value* (with no leading spaces), the function filters rows where the field does not include the specified text.

• WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET is available for Velixo NX users (starting from the fix pack 2025.2.457).

• Snapshot improvements - We improved the snapshot performance on large workbooks.
  

• Generic Writeback renamed: Universal Writeback - To improve the user experience and reduce confusion, we are renaming Generic Writeback to Universal Writeback. 
  • Don't worry! The functionality remains the same, and the function name remains WRITEBACK. We will just reference the feature as Universal Writeback within the product or in documentation, training, and several other assets.

• Register with Velixo form improvements - We have improved the UX of this form, which displays for first-time users of Velixo or will display if we update our Terms or Policies.

  • We have reduced the number of fields in this form.

  • We now allow manually entering an email address. This update fixes the issue: "Please enter a valid email address."

🐛 Fixed:

• Refreshing all open workbooks is more stable now.
• Auto-hide zero rows/columns feature became more reliable.
• SEGMENTDESCRIPTION does not make excessive requests anymore, so it works faster.

🐛 Known Issues:

• Freeze in Excel Tables duplicates data across tables

  • After the Freeze operation, Excel tables containing Velixo formulas may display the same value throughout an entire column. This happens because the formula in the last cell is replicated across the table. This issue affects Velixo NX 2024.12 and newer.
