Description
The AC-IN-RT1 Inventory Valuation report template provides a structured overview of inventory quantities and costs across all branches and warehouses. This template helps users track inventory valuation accurately, ensuring better financial analysis and reporting.
Coverage
This workbook includes the following sheets:
Inventory Valuation: this sheet provides a detailed breakdown of inventory quantities, costs, accounts, and subaccounts across all branches and warehouses for accurate valuation and financial reporting.
Options: the report's settings sheet that used for data validation lists and various lookups and configurations.
Information: the information sheet of the report, used for storing useful details about the report such as: code, version, article link in order to keep track of the origin of the report.

Filters
Located in the upper left of the sheet, the filters include:
- Branch: lists all the Branches present in Acumatica Instance including any custom group defined in the options sheet. For ease of use, Velixo shows you the Branch ID that you may be familiar with along with the Branch name. This Display name is configurable in the Options sheet.
- Warehouse: lists all the warehouses setup in Acumatica
- As of: a period or date field. If left blank, this will default to current date.
These filters are seamlessly linked to the data on the Options tab.
Data Table
This table is conveniently placed to provide a clear and comprehensive view of essential inventory valuation details, including quantities, costs, accounts, and subaccounts, for easy analysis and reporting.
- Branch: identifies the branch associated with the inventory item.
- Warehouse: specifies the warehouse where the inventory is stored.
- Inventory ID: displays the unique identifier for each inventory item.
- Description: provides a brief description of the inventory item.
- Account: the financial account associated with the inventory transaction.
- Subaccount: a more detailed classification linked to the account for tracking purposes.
- Qty: the total quantity of the inventory item on hand.
- Cost: the unit cost or total cost of the inventory item.
User Guide
Using the Report
Now that we've covered the report overview, let's dive into a step-by-step guide on effectively utilizing the report.
- Set the Connection Name on the Options Sheet: crucial for all processes, set the Connection Name on the Options sheet by updating cell A2. Ensure it matches the name used during Velixo application login.
- Update the Options Sheet: as the foundation for filters on the Inventory Valuation sheet, keep the Options sheet up to date. It should always and automatically capture the latest dimensions and structures from your Acumatica instance.
- Choose Desired Filters:after updating the Options sheet, go to the Inventory Valuation sheet select desired filters for the report:
- Branch
- Warehouse
- As of
- Changing the filters will automatically update the report.
