Coverage
This workbook includes the following sheets:
Slow Moving Inventory: displays a list of inventory items with low turnover to help identify slow-moving stock.
Inventory Details: provides comprehensive information on inventory items, including quantities issued and issue date.
Options: the report's settings sheet that used for data validation lists and various lookups and configurations.
Information: the information sheet of the report, used for storing useful details about the report such as: code, version, article link in order to keep track of the origin of the report.
Typical audience

Using the AC-IN-RT5 Slow Moving Inventory template is straightforward and effective. It’s designed to provide a clear overview of slow-moving stock with minimal setup needed.
Slow Moving Inventory
This is the main report that provides a comprehensive overview of inventory items with low turnover across all branches and warehouses. It highlights slow-moving stock, offering valuable insights to help users identify excess inventory and make informed decisions for optimization and inventory management.
Filters
Located in the upper left of the sheet, the filters include:
- Branch: lists all the Branches present in Acumatica Instance including any custom group defined in the options sheet. For ease of use, Velixo shows you the Branch ID that you may be familiar with along with the Branch name. This Display name is configurable in the Options sheet.
- Warehouse: lists all the warehouses setup in Acumatica
- As of: a date field. If left blank, this will default to current date.
These filters are seamlessly linked to the data on the Options tab.
Data table
For convenience, all essential information is presented in a single summary table, providing users with a clear view of slow-moving inventory alongside key metrics such as quantity ratios and date differences, all in one centralized source.
The columns included on this tab are:
- Inventory ID: the unique identifier for each inventory item.
- Description: a brief description of the inventory item.
- Warehouse: the warehouse where the inventory is stored.
- Branch: the branch associated with the inventory item.
- Qty on Hand: the current quantity available in inventory.
- Last Issue Date: the most recent date the item was issued from inventory.
- Last Issued Qty: the quantity of the item issued on the last issue date.
- Qty Ratio: the proportion of the item issued compared to its total quantity.
- Date Difference: the number of days since the item was last issued.
Inventory Details
This tab acts as a supporting report that provides a detailed overview of all inventory items across branches and warehouses. It serves as the source for key metrics, including the last issue date and last issued quantity, used in the Slow Moving Inventory tab.
Filters
The filters on this tab are identical to those on the Slow Moving Inventory tab and cannot be modified. Any filter values applied on the Slow Moving Inventory tab will automatically be applied here to ensure consistency.
Data Table
This tab provides a detailed summary of inventory items, including the last issue date, last issued quantity, and transaction type, all in one convenient table.
- Inventory ID: the unique identifier for each inventory item.
- Warehouse: the warehouse where the inventory is stored.
- Branch: the branch associated with the inventory item.
- Last Issue Date: the most recent date the item was issued from inventory.
- Last Issued Qty: the quantity of the item issued on the last issue date.
- Type: indicates the transaction type, such as an issue or an adjustment.
User Guide
Using the report
Now that we've covered the report overview, let's dive into a step-by-step guide on effectively utilizing the report.
- Set the Connection Name on the Options Sheet: crucial for all processes, set the Connection Name on the Options sheet by updating cell A2. Ensure it matches the name used during Velixo application login.
- Update the Options Sheet: as the foundation for filters on the Slow Moving Inventory sheet, keep the Options sheet up to date. It should always and automatically capture the latest dimensions and structures from your Acumatica instance.
- Choose Desired Filters: after updating the Options sheet, go to the Slow Moving Inventory sheet select desired filters for the report:
- Branch
- Warehouse
- As of
- Changing the filters will automatically update the report.
- Any filter changes applied to the Slow Moving Inventory tab will automatically update the Inventory Details tab to ensure consistency.
