The SI.VENDORNAME function returns the vendor name corresponding to one or more given vendor IDs.
Syntax
SI.VENDORNAME(Connection, VendorID)
Parameters
The SI. VENDORNAME function uses the following parameters:
Parameter | Required/Optional | Description |
Connection | Required | The name of the connection as configured in the Connection Manager |
VendorID | Required | The ID number of the vendor |
Examples
Example #1
=SI.VENDORNAME("Sage", "20001")Description
Returns the name of the vendor with the ID "20001".
Result
(a cell reference has been used for the VendorID parameter)
Example #2
=SI.VENDORNAME("Sage", C2:C4)Description
Returns the name of the vendors whose ID numbers are listed in cell C2 through C4.
