Description
The WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET function changes the current budget (for the specified revision of the specified project) so that it matches the current forecast for that project.
These values would then be retrievable through the Velixo project budget functions (PROJECTBUDGETAMOUNT, PROJECTREVISEDBUDGETAMOUNT, PROJECTBUDGETQUANTITY, and PROJECTREVISEDBUDGETQUANTITY).
Use of either WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET or WRITEBACKPROJECTFORECAST requires the prior installation of the Acumatica Customization Project. |
Syntax
WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET(Connection, Project, Revision)
The WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET function uses the following parameters (see our article on including multiple parameter values):

Connection | Required | The name of the connection as configured in the Connection Manager |
Project | Required | The Project for which values are to be adjusted |
Revision | Required | The Revision for which values are to be adjusted |
Information
The current forecast totals recorded in Acumatica can be adjusted from within Acumatica or using the Velixo WRITEBACKPROJECTFORECAST function. The WRITEBACKPROJECTUPDATEBUDGET function provides the same functionality within Excel as the Update Project Budget Line button in the grid toolbar of the Acumatica page:
